EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS

Gina Pagnotta has been a city of Atlanta employee with the Department of Public Works since March 28, 1999. She began her career working as a payroll clerk and was promoted into a permanent position as an Administrative Assistant in one of the Public Works Divisions. Today, Pagnotta is working as a Fleet Maintenance Parts Supervisor in the Fleet Services Division of Public Works where she oversees, manages and approves purchases of parts and materials light trucks and police vehicles, maintaining an inventory cost of over $375,000. Gina enlisted in the Armed Forces (Army) in January 1976. Her basic training team made military history as the last group of women to be recognized as the Women’s Army Corp, WAC)

When Gina left the military, she attended Rutledge College in Fayetteville, North Carolina on a military grant and received an Associate’s degree in Business Management/Secretarial Science. She is the President of PACE, local R5-50 where she has been a strong voice for city employees by advocating for fair treatment in discipline, salary increases, career advancements and Civil Service Rights protection. Her greatest moments are when she is seated at the round table with the President of NAGE, his administration and other executive board officers representing her members.

She has been married to her husband who she is proud to call a cancer survivor. She has four adult children and eight grandchildren. She enjoys performing as a professional singer/musician with several bands locally. When asked about retirement, she states, “Retirement? What’s that?!”
